Large Jesus Wall Art with Arms Open to Light - Canvas Wall Art

Malcolm Tate painted this piece of large jesus wall art with a palette knife and a lot of patience. A robed figure stands with his back to us, arms open at his sides, facing a burst of ivory and gold light that fans out across the whole sky. A band of rose pink sits low on the horizon, and pale blue water stretches out beneath it.

The paint is thick enough to catch the light in a room. You can see cracked ridges in the cream rays, metallic gold dragged through the strokes, and thin drips of gray running down from the sleeves of the robe. It sits in that textured, semi-abstract space where the figure is clear but the world around him is mostly color and movement, which makes it feel like contemporary christian wall art rather than a traditional church print.

This is for someone who wants religious wall art that feels quiet and open instead of heavy. It works as spiritual wall art for a believer marking a season of hope, a gift for a pastor or a new home, or simply faith wall art for anyone drawn to the moment of stepping toward the light. It also suits collectors of abstract christian wall art and modern religious art who like a strong texture.

As large christian wall art, it fills the space above a sofa, a mantel, or an entry console with ease. The beige, gray, and gold tones pair well with warm wood, linen, and black accents, making it an easy pick for modern christian wall art for living room settings. Like all our christian canvas prints, this canvas wall art comes from an original painting by one of our own artists.
