Teal and Gold Palette Knife Christmas Tree - Canvas Wall Art

Elodie Wren built this tree out of paint you can almost feel. Thick palette knife slabs of teal and deep green stack up into tiers, each one edged with ridges of golden ochre, while little flecks of coral and cream catch the eye like ornaments. Behind it, a lavender and slate sky is laid down in broad, crisscrossing strokes that leave the texture of the knife in every pass.

It's an abstract christmas tree painting that still reads as a Christmas tree from across the room. The shape is simple and familiar, but the way the colors overlap and break apart gives it a modern, sculpted look. Up close, you see the dark navy shadows tucked between the branches and the raised edges where the gold paint folded over.

This is for anyone who wants holiday decor with a little more color and character than the usual red and green. It works as a cozy christmas painting for a home that leans modern, and it makes a thoughtful christmas tree art print to give someone who loves bold, textured work. As a large christmas canvas it holds its own on a wide wall, and it pairs well with framed christmas tree art in a seasonal gallery grouping.

Hang this canvas wall art above a sofa, a console table, or a fireplace mantel. The teal and gold play nicely with brass accents, velvet pillows, and warm wood, making it easy Christmas wall art for living room spaces, entryways, and dining rooms all season long.
