About the Artwork
Clara Westbrook painted these dunes the way the wind leaves them, with long curving ridges that end in a sharp, knife-edge crest. The sunlit faces sit in pale ivory, built up with thick, dragged strokes you can almost feel, while the shadowed slopes fall away into smooth, soft charcoal grey. Small ripples run down the lower dune like a staircase of light.
Working in her Soft Black & White style, Clara keeps the palette quiet and lets form do the talking. The result is sophisticated wall art that reads as both landscape and study in shape, calm enough to live with every day and strong enough to hold a room.
It suits people who like a clean, considered space: someone setting up a home office, a design-minded professional, or a business that wants calming wall art that feels serious without feeling cold. The neutral greys and ivories sit easily beside wood, stone, leather and black metal.
As large horizontal wall art, it fits naturally above a credenza, behind an executive desk, or along a conference room wall. It also works well as waiting room artwork, giving guests something steady to rest their eyes on. This canvas wall art brings quiet order to any modern office.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I spent twelve years retouching black-and-white portraits in a Portland photo lab, and it taught me that the softest greys carry the most feeling. In 2017 I traded the darkroom for oil paint. Now I paint quiet scenes in fog, ivory and charcoal, with as little contrast as the subject allows.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
