About the Artwork
White sails drift across a turquoise bay while a pale village climbs the hillside above the water. Giulia Amato paints it all in loose, quick strokes: soft greens and lemon yellows on the slopes, a hazy blue mountain behind, and tall, inky cypress trees standing guard in the foreground.
This sailboat wall art comes from our Italian Towns in Colour collection, where the color does most of the talking. The water shifts from aqua to deep blue, the sails are just a few clean white shapes, and the cypresses add a dark, vertical rhythm that pulls your eye down toward the boats.
It suits anyone who still thinks about a summer on an Italian lake or coast, sailors and boat lovers, and people who like a painting that feels calm without being quiet. The brushwork stays visible, so it reads as a painting first and a postcard second.
As canvas wall art, it brings fresh blues and greens to a living room, a bedroom, or a sunny entryway. The tall format works well beside a window, above a console, or in a narrow wall space where you want a bit of the Mediterranean.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
For ten years I painted lemons and fishing boats on majolica tiles in a workshop above the beach in Vietri. The glazes taught me to trust flat, fearless colour. Now I paint the towns of the coast the same way: pink houses, lemon trees and that impossible blue, brushed fast in gouache and acrylic.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
