Religious Christmas Prints Family Walk to the Chapel - Canvas Wall Art

A mother, a father and a little one between them walk hand in hand up a snowy lane toward a small white chapel, its windows glowing gold at the top of the rise. Tahlia Emerson paints them from behind, soft and simplified, so the moment feels like it could be any family's walk to church on a quiet night.

This is soft contemporary impressionism at its gentlest. Short, loose strokes of cream and pale blue build the snow, the winding footpath and the drifting flakes, while two tall evergreens frame the chapel and the mother's deep red coat warms the whole scene. As one of our religious christmas prints, it keeps faith at the center without saying a word, just a cross on the steeple and a door left open for the service.

It suits families who make Christmas Eve service part of the season, and it makes a thoughtful gift for parents, grandparents or a new young family. Among Christmas paintings on canvas, this Christmas Eve painting carries the hush of a silent night wall art piece with the warmth of home.

Hang this canvas wall art above the mantel, in an entry where guests arrive in their winter coats, or choose a size that works as large Christmas canvas wall art over the sofa. It is easy Christmas wall art for living room spaces that you will want to bring out every December.
