Mid Century Modern Pop Color Peaks and Pines - Canvas Wall Art

Weston Clarke built this range out of pure color. Three snow-capped peaks stand shoulder to shoulder in tangerine orange, soft mint and electric blue, each one a clean triangle with a jagged white cap. Above them a half-sun sits in lemon yellow, and the sky behind is a loose tangle of pink, cobalt and gold brushstrokes that you can still see the bristles in.

At the base, a little forest of pines in deep green, pale mint, lime and even hot pink is cut into simple stacked shapes, while sweeping bands of yellow, pink and blue roll across the foreground like a hillside in motion. It's mid century modern mountain art with a pop art kick: flat blocks and crisp edges up front, energetic, textured paint everywhere else.

This one is for anyone who loves the outdoors but wants something more playful than a photo of a trail. If you've been browsing mountain art prints and finding them all a bit gray, this is the cheerful alternative. It works as blue mountain wall art or green mountain wall art depending on which colors you pull from the room, and it makes a bright, friendly piece of mountain nursery wall art too.

Hang it above a sofa as standout mountain wall art living room style, over a dresser, or in an entryway that needs a jolt of color. Printed as canvas wall art, it reads like a full mountain range canvas with plenty of brushy texture up close and bold, graphic shapes from across the room.
