Hip Hop Dance Art of a One Hand Freeze - Canvas Wall Art

This piece catches a breaker at the exact second everything goes still. One hand planted on the floor, body tipped sideways, legs bent and stacked in the air. Everly Garrison built the figure from thick palette knife strokes of cobalt blue and electric magenta, with deep black pulling the shadows into shape. The head tucks down, so the face stays hidden and the pose does all the talking.

Around that planted hand, paint bursts outward like an impact. Streaks of yellow, pink, white and blue fly off in every direction, while orange drips run down a turquoise wall behind him. It is hip hop dance art that feels loud and physical, the kind of dance wall art you can almost hear.

We made this for b-boys and b-girls, dance teachers, street culture fans and anyone who grew up with a cypher in the parking lot. If you have been looking for dancer wall art that skips the tutus and goes straight to the floor work, this one is for you. It also sits well next to other modern dance prints in our Modern Dance Energy collection.

Hang this dancer canvas art in a home studio, a game room, or above a desk where you need a jolt of energy. It works as dance bedroom decor for a teen who lives for battles, and it holds its own in a living room with simple walls. Printed as canvas wall art, the knife texture and paint splashes come through bright and bold.
