About Everly

Everly Garrison sketched athletes between rounds during twelve years of training fighters as a boxing coach. Garrison also studied architecture, but the energy and movement of sport proved more interesting than blueprints. Today the artist works in Denver, Colorado, painting the motion of sport after years of watching it up close.

The style is impressionist, full of speed and stadium light. Football, baseball and hockey take center stage: a running back cutting across the field, a slide into home plate in a cloud of dust, an outfielder leaping at the warning track, and ice spraying under arena lights. Garrison’s best sellers are below, printed on matte canvas and ready to hang.
