Funny Dog Bathroom Prints Terrier in a Striped Towel - Canvas Wall Art

Fresh out of the bath and not thrilled about it. Joaquin Serrano painted this wire fox terrier sitting on the floor, bundled in a big striped towel with only his damp bearded face and one front paw poking out. The wiry white coat, the tan ears flopping forward, the dripping whiskers and that steady, slightly put-out stare all come through in loose, layered watercolor.

The towel is where the splash watercolor style really shows. Burnt orange and cornflower blue stripes fold and pool around him, then bleed into drips and speckles of teal, rust and ochre across the white paper. It's a playful take on funny dog bathroom prints, with real painterly detail in every scruffy strand of fur.

This is for terrier people, anyone who has wrestled a wet dog into a towel, and anyone who likes quirky bathroom wall art with a gentle sense of humor. It makes an easy gift for a dog lover setting up a new home, and it fits right in with a collection of bathroom art prints or other dog bathroom wall art.

The tall format works well as small bathroom wall art above a towel bar or toilet, or as powder room wall art where guests will catch it. It's also a cheerful piece of half bath wall decor next to a vanity. Printed as canvas wall art, the soft whites and warm stripes keep the room light and friendly.
