“I paint on a rooftop terrace in Málaga, looking toward the sea with the sun on my back. Managing a citrus orchard taught me to watch light and weather before anything else. I splash Mediterranean blues and orange-grove warmth across thick white paper, working fast while it is wet and leaving open patches that glow like sunlit walls.”
