About the Artwork
A white doctor's coat rests over the back of a plain wooden chair, a turquoise stethoscope looped around the collar with its chestpiece hanging near the pocket. Cole Whitman built the coat up in thick, knife-laid paint, then flecked it with coral and aqua so it picks up the colors of the room around it.
Behind the chair, the wall dissolves into dripping streaks of cobalt, turquoise and golden ochre that run all the way to the floor. It reads as a quiet portrait of the person who just stepped away, and this doctor office decor piece carries that feeling without a single figure in the frame. As a stethoscope painting, it is about the work as much as the tools.
It makes a thoughtful gift for a new graduate, a family physician, or anyone who has spent long shifts in a white coat. It also suits healthcare wall art collections that lean toward expressive color rather than clinical charts.
Hang this canvas wall art in an exam room, a private office, or as medical office decor for a waiting room wall art spot where patients will notice the brushwork. The blues and golds sit easily alongside wood furniture and neutral walls at home, too.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I leave most of the scene out. What stays is the animal. Fifteen years working cattle in Montana made patience and observation a habit. I moved east in 2010, and I missed the animals from those endless prairie mornings. So I paint them, one bison or doe or cow at a time, a little open prairie for someone's home.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
