Contemporary Floral Painting of Coral Hibiscus - Canvas Wall Art

Two big hibiscus flowers open wide on a single leafy stem, their ruffled petals laid down in thick coral, peach and apricot strokes that fade to violet near the dark centers. Long stamens reach out with tiny red tips, and thin drips of paint slide off the petal edges and run down the canvas. This contemporary floral painting by Dante Rivas keeps the flower recognizable while letting the color go wherever it wants.

The background is a loose field of turquoise and sky blue, brushed in wide passes with flecks of peach showing through. Glossy green leaves, some streaked with pale yellow, fill the space between the blooms, and a few buds point up toward the top edge. It reads as modern floral wall art with real texture, the kind you notice from across the room and keep looking at up close.

It suits someone who loves tropical color but wants something painterly rather than postcard-pretty. If you have been browsing abstract flower canvas prints and finding them too soft or too busy, this one has a clear subject and a lot of energy.

As horizontal floral wall art, it sits well above a sofa, a console or a long sideboard, making it an easy pick for floral wall art for living room spaces. It also brightens a sunroom, a bedroom with white bedding or a dining wall that needs a lift. Printed as canvas wall art, it brings warm floral wall decor to any room that leans toward blue, green or natural wood.
