About the Artwork
Trent Hargrove built this ribcage out of loose, sweeping strokes of ivory and soft grey, the paint laid on thick enough that it cracks and catches the light like old plaster. The spine runs straight down the center, each vertebra stacked and banded in pale silver, and thin drips of gold trail down from the lower ribs into the deep blue behind.
Tucked just left of the breastbone sits the heart, sculpted in antique gold with a hint of deep rose showing through the chambers. It reads almost like a relic, warm and glowing against all that cool bone. This is a anatomical wall art piece that feels more like a quiet still life than a textbook diagram, a human anatomy painting with real weight and texture.
It suits anyone who spends their days with the body in mind: doctors, students, therapists, or a friend who just finished school and wants nurse wall art that isn't cartoonish. If you collect anatomical heart decor or love spine wall art with a painterly hand, this one earns its spot.
As blue and gold wall art, it brings warmth to a study, a hallway, or a calm bedroom wall. It also works as medical office wall art in a consult room or as waiting room wall art that gives patients something thoughtful to look at. Printed as canvas wall art, the brushwork and gold drips come through clearly up close.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I work out of a warehouse studio in east Nashville that used to store guitar cases. As a former drywall finisher I learned to move a blade across a surface with confidence, and that habit shapes every painting. I pull soft layers of translucent colour with palette knives, let thin drips run down the canvas and finish with gold leaf so landscapes and florals appear beneath the texture.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
