About the Artwork
Daniel Foley painted a single human ear in profile, its rim curling like a sculpted shell, with nothing else on the face to distract from it. Beside it, the spiral of the inner ear turns into a fern fiddlehead slowly unrolling, a few small fronds trailing down the stem. It's one of our quieter anatomical art prints, and that's the point.
The whole piece is done in soft black and white. Thick, brushy strokes build up the folds of the ear and leave a textured, plaster-like background in warm grays and off-white. The fern is drawn finer, almost like an old botanical plate, so the two feel related without matching.
This is anatomy wall art for people who like a little poetry with their science. It suits a therapist who spends the day listening, an audiologist, a doctor, or anyone who simply loves how the body and the natural world echo each other. It makes a thoughtful piece of medical wall art that doesn't feel clinical.
Hang this canvas wall art in a counseling room as therapist office wall art, in a clinic hallway, or above a chair in a waiting room. It also works as doctor office decor or in a calm home study next to books and plants, where its neutral tones settle easily into the space.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
Most paintings carry too much color. Gray does more work than people think. Stonemasonry left me respecting weight, texture and the shape of a single block. In my RiNo studio in Denver, facing the Front Range, I lay warm greys and ivory with broad brushes, press in knife texture, and save charcoal for a ridge or stone that needs anchoring.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
