“Working in wine country taught me how light changes everything. I started sketching vineyard animals during slow afternoons, and those quick studies of horses and farm dogs became my first serious paintings.”

About Everett

Based in Lincoln, Nebraska, Everett Langston came to art after a career as a sommelier. Wine country showed Langston how much light shapes a scene. On slow afternoons among the vineyards, quick sketches of horses and farm dogs piled up, and those studies became the first serious paintings. Langston also holds a BFA from Ringling College.

Langston blends impressionism with expressionist color and thick, lively texture. The scenes range widely: boats on the San Antonio River Walk at dusk, cable cars climbing San Francisco’s hills, the James River curving through Richmond and a red barn on a Wichita farmstead. Langston’s best sellers are below, stretched over solid wood and ready to hang.
