About the Artwork
This white on white painting comes down to one move. Hanna Lindqvist loaded her knife with warm-white paste and swept it across a slightly cooler plaster ground in a single pass, leaving a wide crescent with a soft ridge and feathered edges. You only really see it when light grazes the surface and the shadow catches the lip of the stroke.
Around it, the ground carries faint scratches, scraped corners and thin layers of plaster tone, so the quiet field still has something to look at up close. It's a palette knife abstract painting that trusts restraint, and it reads as white textured wall art with real depth rather than a flat print of texture.
It suits people who like calm rooms and honest materials, the kind of space that leans toward wabi sabi wall art or japandi wall art. If you want something that settles a room instead of filling it, this one does that.
Hang it as above bed wall art where morning light can rake across the crescent, or as wall art above sofa in a living room with linen, oak and stone. As canvas wall art in larger sizes, it works as large neutral wall art that holds a wide wall without adding noise.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I spent nine years finishing lime-plaster walls in old Duluth houses, and learned that a wall with almost nothing on it can still feel alive. In 2018 I moved from walls to canvas. I paint a stone, a branch, a far horizon or a single stroke, in chalk, oat and warm sand, and leave the rest to breathe.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
