About the Artwork
Rebecca Lyons built this circle with a palette knife, layer over layer, until the paint stood up off the surface like soft plaster. A diagonal cut divides it into a blush pink half and a sea-glass half, and right along that line runs a raised ridge of fine gold. Below, thin drips of gold and blue-green slide down over streaks of cream, sand and pale gray.
This is textured wall art that rewards a closer look. You can see every pass of the knife, the cracks where thick paint dried, and the way the background was dragged in long vertical strokes. It reads as a neutral abstract painting from across the room and as a little landscape of ridges up close.
It suits people who like calm wall art with some quiet weight to it, the kind of piece that fits a wabi sabi or japandi wall art leaning home where imperfection is part of the point. The soft pink and muted green keep it gentle without going sweet.
Hang this canvas wall art as wall art above bed, where the round shape gives the headboard a focal point, or let it anchor a reading corner or entry wall. The cream ground plays well with linen, pale oak and stone, and the gold seam picks up warm lamplight in the evening.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a small cottage studio a few blocks from the beach in Cape May. Making sea-glass jewelry taught me to notice soft, frosted color and the way edges wear smooth over time. My textured abstracts layer foggy blush, sea-glass green and linen tones in gritty modeling paste, and I finish each piece by threading fine lines of gold through the surface.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
