About the Artwork
Rebecca Lyons built this wave one palette-knife stroke at a time. It rises tall on the canvas and curls over in sweeping bands of sea-glass teal, sand, and cream. The crest breaks into thick, lifted foam, and fine threads of gold run down through the curl like drips of light. This is abstract coastal wall art you can almost feel with your fingertips.
The textured semi-abstract style keeps the wave readable while letting the paint do the talking. Soft blush and lavender slip into the lower strokes, and the pale grey sky leaves the wave plenty of room to breathe. It reads as quiet, neutral abstract wall art up close and as a clear rolling wave from across the room.
It suits anyone who loves the ocean but prefers a calm, layered palette to bright beach colors. If your home leans toward modern coastal wall art with a touch of warmth, the gold details tie in nicely with brass hardware, linen, and light wood.
The tall format works well beside a bed, in an entry, or as coastal bathroom wall art above a soaking tub. Sized up, it becomes large neutral canvas art that anchors a living room wall. Printed as canvas wall art, it keeps the feel of an abstract ocean wall art original.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a small cottage studio a few blocks from the beach in Cape May. Making sea-glass jewelry taught me to notice soft, frosted color and the way edges wear smooth over time. My textured abstracts layer foggy blush, sea-glass green and linen tones in gritty modeling paste, and I finish each piece by threading fine lines of gold through the surface.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
