About the Artwork

A tall Gothic window glows from inside an old stone church, its four lancets lit by tall white candles. Sloane Whitaker built this textured christmas painting with a palette knife, laying the blue-gray and sand-colored stones down in thick, blocky strokes so the wall almost feels like masonry.
