About the Artwork

A meadow in full bloom, with daisies, lupines, and golden wildflowers crowding the foreground like they're competing for attention. Behind them, Telluride's mountains rise up in soft purples and blues, with that distinct alpine glow catching the peaks. The paint sits thick on the canvas, giving the flowers real dimension.

The impressionist approach here lets colors blur just enough to feel like summer heat. Each brushstroke captures a different bloom, white daisies with yellow centers, purple spikes of lupine, orange and gold scattered throughout. The way the light hits the distant hills suggests late afternoon, when everything in Colorado looks softer.

Made for anyone who's hiked Telluride in July and wants that feeling back. If you've spent summers in the high country, you'll recognize this immediately. The kind of gift that makes Colorado expats a little homesick in the best way.

The warm tones work in living rooms and bedrooms, anywhere you want to bring mountain air inside. Modern homes benefit from the color palette, traditional spaces get a dose of energy.

After fifteen years reading teleprompters, I needed something real to focus on. My neighbor's cat would sit perfectly still in afternoon light, and I started sketching her during lunch breaks. Now I spend mornings painting animals before the world wakes up.
