About the Artwork
Three soft rectangles drift across a pale field and settle on top of one another like sheets of tissue paper. Clara Westbrook painted the first in creamy ivory, the next in a pale ash, and the last in a warm grey that deepens where the layers overlap. Faint pencil lines trace the edges, then wide brush strokes blur them back into the background.
It's a quiet piece, and the texture is what keeps you looking. You can see the drag of the brush through each panel and the slight shift in tone where one shape shows through another. This is neutral abstract wall art that rewards a slow second glance.
It suits anyone who likes calm, layered color and restrained shapes over loud contrast. If you've been looking for monochrome abstract wall art with a little warmth in it, the ivory panel brings that softness without breaking the palette.
Hang this canvas wall art above a linen sofa, a low console, or a bed with pale bedding. It also works as modern office wall art behind a desk, where its sophisticated abstract wall art feel keeps the room composed and easy to focus in.

I spent twelve years retouching black-and-white portraits in a Portland photo lab, and it taught me that the softest greys carry the most feeling. In 2017 I traded the darkroom for oil paint. Now I paint quiet scenes in fog, ivory and charcoal, with as little contrast as the subject allows.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
