About the Artwork
A short stack of folded linens in cream, sand and dusty pink sits on a round wooden stool with three tapered legs. On top, a squat pillar candle burns with a small flame, and a single stem of eucalyptus curves up and out against a golden ochre circle. Rodrigo Salcedo paints it with visible brushwork and a calm, mid-century hand, so the whole scene reads like a quiet welcome.
This still life painting is part of our Welcome Stay Still Lifes collection, and it carries the feeling of a room made ready for someone. The cream background is worked in loose, crosshatched strokes, the stool's wood grain is pulled in long warm browns, and a soft shadow trails off to the right like late afternoon light.
It makes thoughtful spare bedroom decor for anyone who likes hosting family and friends, and it suits people drawn to eucalyptus wall art and gentle, everyday objects. If you collect still life wall art with a modern edge, this one fits right in.
Hang this canvas wall art above a dresser or a luggage rack as guest bedroom wall art, or use it as neutral bedroom wall art beside a reading chair. The warm beige, brown and ochre tones sit easily with linen bedding, light wood and soft greenery, making it easy bedroom wall art for a restful space.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a sunny upstairs studio in Guadalajara, above the street where I grew up. Before painting full time I designed glazed tiles for a family ceramics workshop, and that taught me to think in repeating shapes and quiet colour. My canvases borrow from the modernist houses of my city: soft mustard, teal and terracotta in flat planes, with arches, palms and circles brushed by hand.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
