Long Narrow Wall Art of a Painted Rug Runner - Canvas Wall Art

Rodrigo Salcedo painted a woven runner laid flat across a pale cream field, and that one stretched shape is the whole story. Panels of rust, terracotta, golden ochre, sage, dusty blue and faded indigo sit side by side in different widths, each one edged by a thin charcoal line and a sliver of cream. Little fringed tassels finish both ends, brushed in the same colors as the panels.

The paint is laid on in his mid-century style, with visible strokes inside every block that read like the texture of woven wool. It's color block wall art that feels handmade rather than graphic, and the warm earth tones keep it calm. This long narrow wall art gives you the rhythm of a geometric abstract painting with the coziness of a favorite rug.

It suits anyone who loves boho wall art but wants something cleaner than macrame, or anyone building a warm neutral wall art palette around clay, mustard and denim tones. If terracotta wall art is already on your list, this piece pulls that color in without overwhelming a room.

As long horizontal wall art, it was made for wide spaces: above couch wall art in the living room, over a headboard, or along a hallway or console where an extra wide wall art piece looks right at home. Pair it with other geometric wall decor from the Woven Boho Geometry collection, printed as canvas wall art ready to hang.
