Sleeping Fawn by a Little Mushroom for the Nursery - Canvas Wall Art

A newborn white-tailed fawn has curled up on the forest floor and fallen fast asleep, legs folded neatly under its spotted coat and its head tucked back against its side. Just past its nose, a tiny brown mushroom pokes up through the grass, like it showed up to keep watch. This is deer nursery wall art that feels hushed and gentle.

Carmen Aguilar painted the fawn with fine, careful detail, from the white spots along its back to the soft pink inside its ears. Around it, she let the brushwork loosen into broad strokes of cream, pale blue and blush, so the background reads like morning light. It's soft contemporary impressionism at its quietest, and it sits beautifully with other nursery animal portraits in our Woodland Nursery collection.

It's made for parents planning a calm, nature-inspired room, and for anyone shopping a baby shower gift that will still look lovely years later. The warm browns and muted tones keep it cozy without leaning too sweet, which makes it a natural pick for pastel nursery wall art that works for any baby.

Hang this nursery canvas wall art above the crib, over a changing table or beside a rocking chair where you'll see it during late-night feedings. The tall vertical format also fits a narrow wall in a playroom or a woodland-themed kid's bedroom.
