About the Artwork
This piece is all about one quiet shape. Allison Reilly painted a tall arch with a rounded top, then filled it with fine vertical ridges of beige paint that rise like the ribs of an old wooden door. Around it, the cream wall is built up in broad, loose palette strokes, and a single low stone-colored plinth sits at its base.
It reads as scandinavian wall art with a softer, older soul. The worn plaster surface and uneven edges lean toward wabi sabi wall art, while the restraint and earthy palette make it natural japandi wall art. As a print of textured canvas wall art, it keeps the look of every ridge and swipe of paint.
It's for people who like a room to breathe. If you collect neutral textured wall art or prefer minimalist wall decor that adds depth without adding noise, this arch fits right in. It was painted to pair with a mirrored twin arch from the Minimal Relief Blocks collection, so the two can hang side by side.
Hang this canvas wall art above a linen sofa, at the end of a hallway, or on either side of a bed with its twin. It sits well next to pale oak, stoneware, and white walls, and it looks especially good in soft daylight that catches the painted texture.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a small studio above a bakery in Burlington, Vermont, with Lake Champlain a short walk away. Working as a bookbinder taught me to care about margins, folds and the space around a single line of text. My paintings are simple: pale linen grounds, a soft graphite line, a grey shape resting near the edge, everything slow and quiet.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
