About the Artwork
One monstera leaf, one vase, and plenty of room to breathe. Ingrid Dahl painted the leaf in deep teal with thin golden veins, turning it so every cut and hole reads clearly against the cream ground. A long olive stalk arcs down into a round-bellied ceramic vase glazed in glossy orange, with a quick white highlight and a soft shadow trailing off to the right.
This is retro botanical prints done with a painter's hand. The brushwork in the background swirls and shows its texture, while the leaf and vase keep clean, flat shapes that feel straight out of mid century modern art. It works as a quiet mid century still life painting, simple enough to sit with every day.
It's a good fit for plant lovers, collectors of earth tone wall art, and anyone pulling together mid century modern home decor without going full theme. If you've been looking for burnt orange wall art that isn't loud, this one balances the warm vase with that cool teal leaf.
Hang this canvas wall art over a walnut credenza, beside a reading chair, or in an entry where a single plant already lives. It pairs easily with teak furniture, linen, and other mid century wall decor, and it holds its own on a narrow wall in a hallway or bedroom.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I work from a small harbor-side studio in Gothenburg, a short walk from the ferries. For years I mixed glazes at a ceramics workshop, and I still think about colour as something that fires and settles. My paintings borrow the boomerang curves and stacked blocks of the fifties, pushed into bright orange, teal and saffron with thick, honest brushwork.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
