Pizza Slice and Wine Bottle on Checked Tablecloth - Canvas Wall Art

A single slice of pepperoni and olive pizza rests on a round cream plate, crust curled up at the back, right next to a dark wine bottle tucked into a woven straw basket. Ingrid Dahl keeps it simple: flat, calm shapes, a red and cream gingham cloth, and a soft brushed wall behind it all. This pizza painting has the easy charm of a neighborhood trattoria at lunch.

You can see the hand in it. The background is laid down in loose, sweeping strokes, the basket weave is built from small tan dashes, and the bottle catches a thin streak of teal light. It reads as mid-century food wall art, quiet and a little nostalgic, without trying too hard.

It's for anyone who thinks the best meals are the simple ones, the home cook who keeps a bottle of red by the stove, or the couple who still talks about that pizza place on their first trip to Italy. As canvas wall art, it brings that warm, unfussy mood into everyday spaces, and it makes a thoughtful gift for a new home.

Hang it as italian kitchen wall art above a counter or open shelf, or let it anchor a gallery of dining room wall art near the table. It works as small kitchen wall art in a breakfast nook, fits right into modern kitchen wall art schemes with its clean shapes, and makes natural restaurant wall art for a pizzeria or wine bar. Pair it with other kitchen canvas art from the Pizzeria Still Lifes collection for a full set of pizza wall art.
