About the Artwork

This ocean wave painting by Autumn Carlisle catches one glassy wave at the moment it curls over and breaks onto a shallow sandy shore. The inside of the curl runs from teal to deep violet, and the foam spills forward in thick ridges of cream laid down with a palette knife.
