After fifteen years on late-night radio, Autumn Carlisle wanted something quieter but just as creative. Tearing up old album covers and sheet music felt like remixing, only with paper and paint. The former DJ studied art history with a minor in studio art and works in Richmond, Virginia.

Collage defines the style, and the subjects lean sunny and coastal. The red and white Hilton Head Island lighthouse stands against a peach sunset, vintage surf vans line Pacific Beach in San Diego, and dawn washes over Galveston’s sand.
