About the Artwork
Todd Ferguson painted the kind of fireplace that sat in so many 1960s living rooms: a rust-orange cone on three slim tapered legs, its tall flue pipe running straight up the canvas. Inside the open hearth, two small flames flicker over a dark grate, and a single mint green knit stocking with a pink cuff hangs from a little wooden peg on the pipe.
The brushwork is loose and visible. The cream wall is laid in with sweeping strokes, the enamel finish of the fireplace gets quick highlights, and a soft olive shadow pools on the floor beneath it. This piece of mid century christmas wall art keeps things spare, one object and one stocking, and that restraint is what makes it feel so warm.
It's for anyone who loves atomic-era design, collects retro ornaments, or wants vintage holiday wall art that feels calm instead of busy. The soft pastel accents sit easily next to teak furniture, shag rugs, and a tinsel tree.
Hang this canvas wall art above a sideboard, by the reading chair, or near the real hearth as a bit of Christmas mantel art. It works as holiday wall decor in a living room or entryway, and its cream background blends into the room well past December.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
My studio is a cinderblock shed behind my house in Phoenix, where the light is strong enough to test any colour. I spent fifteen years painting cars at a body shop, which taught me patience with surfaces and a love for the curves of old Chevys and diners. I paint mid-century scenes and abstracts in bold mustard, turquoise and burnt orange, flat shapes with the brush texture left in.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
