Human Anatomy Art Runner in Full Stride - Canvas Wall Art

This piece of human anatomy art catches a runner at the exact moment of drive. The front knee pushes forward, the rear leg extends off the ground, and every bone from skull to toes is drawn in fine ink lines. Alejandro Becerra lets loose washes of red, indigo blue and golden ochre form the body around the skeleton, with drips running down the legs and splashes scattering behind like dust kicked up from the track.

It works as an anatomy painting and a study of motion at the same time. The red pools along the ribs and front thigh, where the effort is, while cooler blues trail behind the hips and back leg. The faceless figure keeps the focus on the mechanics: the tilt of the pelvis, the swing of the arms, the line of the spine leaning into the stride. It reads like abstract skeleton art up close and a clear running form from across the room.

Runners, coaches, students of the body and anyone who works with movement will see something familiar here. It makes thoughtful physical therapy wall art or chiropractor wall art, and it fits just as well as anatomy wall art in a home gym or study.

Hang this canvas wall art in a clinic waiting room, a sports medicine practice or as medical office wall art behind the front desk. The pale background keeps it light on a white or warm gray wall, and it brings a lively note to doctor office wall decor without feeling clinical.
