About the Artwork
Three wild mustangs run together across this canvas, left to right, heads forward and manes thrown back by the wind. Denise Fowler builds each horse from slashing palette-knife strokes of electric blue, magenta and burnt orange, so the muscles seem to shift as you look. Behind them, a hot yellow sky is streaked with turquoise, pink and red, and the ground below drips and splashes like wet paint kicked up by hooves.
This is horse wall art with real energy. It reads as a colorful horse painting first, and as abstract western art the longer you stand with it. The drawing is confident and the color is loud, but the horses stay true to form, from flared nostrils to feathered fetlocks.
It suits anyone who grew up around horses, loves the open-range spirit of the West, or simply wants a piece that lifts a room the moment you walk in. It also makes a thoughtful gift for a rider, a rancher or a friend who collects modern southwest art.
As western canvas wall art, it holds its own above a sofa, along a long hallway or over a bed with plain linens that let the color carry the room. Pair it with warm wood, leather, or white walls, and let these three mustangs set the pace. This canvas wall art print is made in the US for Jessie's Home.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a warehouse bay in Houston's East End, where the heat keeps my acrylics moving fast. Bending neon tubes taught me how color behaves when it glows against darkness. I start each canvas with inky blacks and deep blues, then let electric blue, magenta and a hot Texas orange collide in wide, loose strokes that I refuse to overwork.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
