Horse Painting Canvas at the Split-Rail Fence - Canvas Wall Art

This horse painting canvas catches a dapple-white horse leaning into an old split-rail fence just as the sun drops low. Its ears are up and forward, its pale mane lit gold, and the sunlit side of its coat warms to amber while the shadowed side cools into soft gray.

Miles Corbin paints in a vibrant modern impressionist style, so the meadow behind the horse is built from thick, quick strokes of peach, coral, mustard and teal. The fence rails carry flecks of every color in the field, and the distant hills fade into a dusky blue under a sky streaked with apricot light.

It's for anyone who grew up around barns and pastures, or who just loves the calm of a horse at the end of the day. As farm animal wall art goes, it feels personal rather than staged, with a steady gaze that meets you in the room. The mix of loose brushwork and country subject makes it easy modern rustic wall art for newer and older homes alike.

Hang it over a sideboard as farmhouse dining room wall art, above a sofa as large farmhouse wall art, or in an entry where it greets people first. It pairs well with wood, linen and warm metals, and brings the same golden glow as country wall decor or a set of rustic canvas prints. However you style it, this farmhouse canvas wall art adds warmth and a little open-field quiet to the wall.
