About the Artwork
Two fish lie side by side on a white cloth, one silvery blue, one a deep navy, with a soft blue sea and pale sky stretching out behind them. Sara Galli fills the table with summer: halved lemons and limes, a few olives, a pile of oysters on the left and bright coral prawns on the right, all resting on a blue striped tablecloth.
This fish painting is done in light gouache, with dry, chalky strokes you can see in the sky and the water. The colors stay soft and sunny, the kind of easy palette that feels like lunch at a beach trattoria rather than a formal still life. It comes from her Lemons and Majolica collection, painted in a soft contemporary impressionist hand.
It suits anyone who cooks for a crowd, loves seafood, or keeps coming back to the Mediterranean coast in their head. It makes a warm gift for a new homeowner or a friend who just got back from Italy.
As canvas wall art, it fits right into a kitchen, above a dining table or a sideboard, or in a breakfast nook. The blues and whites sit nicely in a coastal or beach house setting, and the yellow lemons add a little lift to a white wall.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
In Como I spent six years drawing patterns for silk scarves: lemons, tiles and stripes repeated a thousand times. I fell in love with clean, airy colour on a pale ground. My kitchen paintings keep that freshness: lemons on majolica, a caprese on a gingham cloth, shrimp on a striped plate, in light gouache with plenty of white around them.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
