About the Artwork
Rebecca Lyons starts this earth tone abstract painting with order: a tall lattice of elongated diamonds in rust, terracotta, cream and a few soft sage tiles, the kind of pattern you'd find on a Moroccan floor. Thin lines of metallic gold trace the grid, catching the light as you walk past.
Then, about halfway down, the pattern lets go. Heavy palette knife strokes sweep across the diamonds in ochre, clay and white, and long vertical drips of rust and gold run toward the bottom edge. It reads like a palette knife abstract painting and a tile study at once, with real texture you can see in the ridges of paint.
This piece is for anyone who loves Moroccan wall art but wants something looser and more personal than a printed pattern. It suits people building boho wall decor around warm, grounded colors, and it pairs easily with other earth tone wall art, rattan, linen and wood.
As canvas wall art, its vertical format works well beside a bed, at the end of a hallway or on a narrow wall in the living room. Hang it near terracotta pots, a leather chair or woven textiles and it holds its own as boho abstract wall art, or group it with other terracotta wall art for a warm gallery corner.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a small cottage studio a few blocks from the beach in Cape May. Making sea-glass jewelry taught me to notice soft, frosted color and the way edges wear smooth over time. My textured abstracts layer foggy blush, sea-glass green and linen tones in gritty modeling paste, and I finish each piece by threading fine lines of gold through the surface.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
