About the Artwork
Matteo Ferraro cut a large circle straight down the middle and let the two halves drift. The left side is a dusty golden ochre, the right a warm terracotta that slips just slightly lower, and a thin olive line rises through the gap to a small teal dot at the top. It's a quiet contemporary geometric painting with a mid-century heart.
Look closely and the cream ground is full of movement. Broad palette knife sweeps and combed strokes circle around the shapes, so the background reads almost like plaster. The halves carry their own brushwork too, with visible ridges and a soft, hand-cut edge.
This piece suits anyone who likes earth tone wall art that feels considered rather than busy. If your home leans japandi wall art or simple mid-century lines, the restrained palette and steady balance will sit right at home. It works as a neutral abstract painting that still brings warmth.
Hang it as calm wall art above the bed, over a low console, or in a reading corner where the textures catch side light. Printed as canvas wall art, it pairs well with linen, wood and clay, and fits easily into a minimalist wall decor scheme.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a narrow studio above a bicycle shop in Turin. Building architectural models taught me to see a city as simple blocks, arches and shadows, and I still sketch with a ruler before I pick up a brush. My canvases reduce hills, rooftops and still lifes to quiet planes of olive, sand and faded teal, with the brushwork left soft and visible.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
