About the Artwork

Mae Holliday painted this one standing on the cliff path, or at least it feels that way. A sandy trail runs down through grass and pink and violet wildflowers, the headland curves away in sage green, and the terracotta cliffs drop into a bay full of broken light. Out on the water, one small white-sailed boat is heading for open sea.
