About the Artwork
This piece of chiropractic art catches the body halfway down a slow forward bend. Knees stay soft, arms hang loose toward the floor, and the head drops easy. Along the rounded back, Denise Fowler lays out the spine as one long arc of rust-red vertebrae, with a pale pelvis and thigh bone showing through the hip like an X-ray caught mid-motion.
The paint is thick and loose. Turquoise, ochre, rose and cobalt are pressed onto the figure in short knife-like strokes, and dark outlines hold the shape together. Behind it, a sand-colored ground carries streaks of blue, orange and pink, with thin drips running down to a smeared, puddled floor. It reads as an anatomy painting first, but it has the energy of street-wall expressionism.
It's made for people who think about how bodies move: chiropractors, physical therapists, yoga teachers, massage therapists, and anyone who has felt their own back release in a good stretch. As a spine painting it explains the idea of a neutral, flexing spine without a single label.
Hang this canvas wall art in a treatment room or reception area as chiropractor wall art that patients will actually look at, or use it as physical therapy wall art beside the exercise mats. It also works as yoga studio wall art near the entrance, or in a home gym where you go to loosen up.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
A painting should feel loud once it hangs in a home. Mine are mostly cattle and dogs. Houston heat in my East End warehouse bay keeps acrylics moving fast. Bending neon made me fluent in color against darkness, so I start in inky blacks and deep blues. Then electric blue, magenta and Texas orange collide in loose strokes I never overwork.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
