About the Artwork
Lori Kaplan painted this pancake stack like a diner sign you can almost smell. Five golden cakes with speckled, crisp edges, a square pat of butter softening on top, and syrup running down the sides in thick, glossy ribbons that pool on a cream plate with a red rim. Behind it sits a flat mustard sun over bands of turquoise and red.
The brushwork is loose where it counts and sharp where it matters. You can see the strokes in the background color fields, while the syrup catches the light with bright white highlights. It's contemporary pop art with a warm, retro diner heart, and this breakfast wall art keeps the table bare so the stack gets all the attention.
It's for the person who believes weekends start with a griddle, for anyone who misses Sunday diner booths, and for folks who want canvas wall art that makes a room feel cheerful without trying too hard.
Hang it above a breakfast nook wall art spot by the window, or let it bring a little color to dining room wall art groupings. It also works as colorful kitchen wall art near the stove, or as cafe wall art behind a counter where the morning crowd lines up.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a narrow loft in Manhattan's Garment District, above a button supplier. Working a cosmetics counter taught me how a single sharp line or flash of pink changes a whole face. I block in hot pink and lemon with flat acrylic, then outline every shape in crisp black so the canvas reads from across a room, like a shop window.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
