About the Artwork
Two soft, rounded shapes fit together here like puzzle pieces. A rust form on top dips into a rounded notch, and the bulging lobe of a sage form below settles right into it, the two held apart by a thin cream seam. Down in the lower curve of the sage shape sits a small slate blue pebble, glossy and round. This piece of burnt orange abstract wall art by Brianna Oakes feels calm and a little playful at once.
Brianna paints with visible, swirling brushwork, so the cream background and both shapes carry the texture of the strokes. Thin golden ochre lines trace the outer edges, and darker brown and teal shadows give each form some weight. It reads as textured abstract wall art even from across the room, and it has the easy confidence of classic mid century abstract art.
It suits anyone drawn to earth tone wall art and warm, simple forms. If you have been hunting for terracotta wall art that does not feel heavy, or sage green wall art with a bit more personality, this pairing gives you both in one frame.
Hang this canvas wall art over a walnut credenza, beside a reading chair, or in an entry with warm wood and linen. It slips right into a home styled with mid century modern wall art and plays well with cream walls, rattan, and leafy plants.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I paint in a breezy carport studio in Palm Springs surrounded by 1960s houses. Restoring teak sideboards and lounge chairs taught me to love warm wood tones and clean, simple lines. I paint flat planes of mustard, teal and burnt orange with a soft brush, letting the texture show, and arrange organic shapes and geometric forms the way a good room is arranged.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
