About the Artwork
Hanna Lindqvist kept this one almost bare. Three short diagonal strokes sit together in the lower right corner, one muted clay, one soft charcoal and one warm sand. Each is laid down in a single confident pass and ends in a split, bristly tail where the brush lifted off.
Around them is a chalk-white field built up in loose, layered paint, with a drift of taupe clouding the upper left and dry scrapes running through the surface. It reads as a neutral abstract painting with real texture up close, the kind of textured abstract wall art where the brush marks are the whole story.
This brushstroke wall art is for people who like a wall that breathes. If you lean toward wabi sabi wall art, with its quiet imperfection and handmade feel, or you are pulling together a calm japandi wall art corner, these three strokes say enough without crowding the room.
Hang it above a linen sofa, in a bedroom with oak and cream, or as minimalist bathroom wall art next to stone and plaster. As serene wall art printed on minimalist canvas wall art stock, it settles easily into soft white, greige and taupe rooms.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
I spent nine years finishing lime-plaster walls in old Duluth houses, and learned that a wall with almost nothing on it can still feel alive. In 2018 I moved from walls to canvas. I paint a stone, a branch, a far horizon or a single stroke, in chalk, oat and warm sand, and leave the rest to breathe.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
