Brown Flower Wall Art with a Gilded Ivory Peony - Canvas Wall Art

One big peony takes up the left side of this piece, its ivory petals flushed with blush pink and opening wide toward you. Fiona Callahan built the petals up in thick, ridged strokes, then edged them with fine lines of gold that catch the light. Toward the right, the flower lets go of its shape and melts into a sweeping horizontal field of chocolate brown, warm ivory and a few cool streaks of slate blue.

Thin gold drips run straight down through the petals and the background, as if the paint is still wet. It's that pull between a carefully painted bloom and loose, dragged brushwork that makes this brown flower wall art feel modern without losing its softness. If you've been looking for peony wall art that reads as calm rather than sweet, this is it.

It suits anyone drawn to neutral floral wall art with a little depth: earthy browns, creamy whites, a touch of shine. Fans of modern floral wall art and abstract flower canvas prints will find plenty to look at up close, from the knife-like ridges to the gold flecks scattered across the brown.

The long horizontal format makes it a natural choice as floral wall art for living room spaces, centered over a sofa or a low console. It also works above a bed or along a dining room wall where you want floral wall decor that ties together wood tones, linen and brass. This peony canvas art is printed as canvas wall art that keeps the texture of the original front and center.
