Bauhaus Wall Art with Yellow Block and Orange Square - Canvas Wall Art

Jeff Dawson kept this one simple and let the paint do the talking. A tall mustard yellow rectangle takes up most of the canvas, its brushwork left visible in long diagonal strokes. Down at the lower right, a small orange square tucks against its edge, half on the yellow and half on the cream ground, and a single thin cobalt line runs underneath like a shelf holding everything up.

This is bauhaus wall art with a mid-century hand. The edges are soft, the textures are real, and you can see where the brush turned. It reads as minimalist geometric wall art, but it never feels cold. The warm yellow and that little burst of orange give it a quiet sense of humor, like two shapes caught standing next to each other.

It suits anyone who likes yellow abstract wall art that stays calm, or color block wall art with a lighter, more personal touch. Design lovers, fans of modernist posters, and people who want a pop of color wall art piece without a lot of noise will all find something to like here.

As geometric wall art for living room walls, it sits well above a low sofa, a walnut credenza, or a reading chair. It also works in a home office or entry where a clean modern geometric painting can anchor the space. Printed as canvas wall art, the cream ground and brushstroke texture carry through just as they were painted.
