About the Artwork
Rowan Keaton built this piece the slow way. Heavy white modeling paste is pushed and lifted into deep vertical folds, so the whole thing reads like a length of cloth cast in plaster, gathered at one point near the top and falling loose toward the bottom. It's 3d white wall art that looks like you could reach in and catch a corner.
Around the drape, sweeping knife strokes and thin white drips run down into a warm cream ground, blurring where the fabric ends and the wall begins. The torn, crackled edges and uneven drips give it that wabi sabi wall art feeling, where nothing is perfect and that is the point. It's part of our White-on-White Relief collection, painted in a textured semi-abstract style.
This is for people who like quiet rooms with a lot going on up close. If you collect white plaster wall art or lean toward organic modern wall art, the soft ivory tones and sculpted folds will sit right at home. It works as japandi wall art too, calm and restrained without feeling cold.
As canvas wall art, it holds its own above a linen sofa, at the end of a hallway, or over a bed with light bedding. Side light from a window brings out every ridge and shadow, so hang it where the sun moves across it during the day.

Materials & Craft
Printed and hand-stretched in the USA, then shipped ready to hang.
After my discharge in 2022, I moved back home and wandered into a Saturday painting class at the community center. The instructor, an older guy named Frank, showed me how color could express what words couldn't. Now I spend most nights in my garage studio working through layers of paint and memory.
This canvas exceeded my expectations. The lion and its reflection are beautifully captured, and the quality of the print is superb. It adds a strong, motivational vibe to my room. I get compliments on it all the time!
Thrilled with the quality, the colors and the prompt delivery. Very impressed with this beautiful artwork! Just what this space needed! Will definitely do business with this company again! My clients loved it!! Thank you!!
