“I paint in an old carriage house in Savannah, with a box fan running most of the year. Two decades of hand-lettering storefront signs taught me bold colour and a steady hand. With a palette knife I lay vintage trucks, roadside diners and gas pumps in thick slabs of oil, cherry red against turquoise, letting the ridges carry the shine of old enamel.”

About Warren

Warren Hadley paints in an old carriage house in Savannah, Georgia, where a box fan hums through most of the year. Before he picked up a palette knife, he spent two decades hand-lettering storefront signs, a trade he learned through a sign shop apprenticeship and coursework at Savannah Technical College. Those years on ladders and shop windows taught him bold color, clean edges and a steady hand. All three show in every canvas he makes.

Working in oil on primed canvas with offset painting knives, Warren lays vintage trucks, roadside diners and gas pumps down in thick slabs of paint. He sets cherry red against turquoise and lets the raised ridges catch the light like the shine of old enamel. His work blends vintage Americana with a Pop Art punch. It feels right at home in a kitchen or breakfast nook, a garage or workshop, a den, a game room or a retro-styled living room. Below are Hadley’s canvases in our shop, ready to hang.
