“After years of studio sessions in Nashville, I moved to Colorado in 2019 and discovered painting helped me process the quiet after all that noise. Now I spend mornings hiking and afternoons capturing the animals I encounter on canvas.”

About Tessa

Music came before painting for Tessa Langley, a former session musician with a BFA from the University of Tennessee. After years in Nashville studios and a move to Colorado in 2019, painting became a way to settle into the quiet. Langley now lives in Denver, hiking in the mornings and painting the animals from those trails in the afternoons.

Wildlife leads this impressionist collection, built from blocky dabs of color and warm, glowing light. Look for an owl with amber eyes, a shaggy Highland cow standing in a lake, a buck stepping into a forest stream and a close look at an elephant’s eye. The best-selling canvases are below, each printed on matte canvas over solid wood.
