“My studio is a carport I closed in behind our house in Tucson. I spent twelve years painting signs for diners and motels, and that work taught me how a few clean shapes can carry a whole idea. Now I paint desert ranch houses, cactus forms and atomic starbursts in dusty olive and soft mustard, keeping the brush texture so nothing looks printed.”
