“The wildlife sanctuary where I volunteered during college taught me to see animals differently. Those early morning shifts watching deer and foxes move through the mist shaped how I approach every canvas now.”

About Nolan

Based in Seattle, Washington, Nolan Prescott learned to watch animals as a college volunteer at a wildlife sanctuary. Early shifts spent seeing deer and foxes move through the mist still shape how Prescott approaches a canvas. The former dance instructor holds a BFA from the University of New Mexico.

Impressionism meets expressionist color in thick strokes of blue, beige, brown and red. Animals and cities share the spotlight: a garden cat watching butterflies, two golden canaries among coral blooms, downtown Austin beyond Lady Bird Lake and the Allegheny River glowing gold in Pittsburgh. The artist’s best sellers follow below, each printed on matte canvas and stretched over solid wood.
