Elevate your space with our Man Cave Wall Art Canvas Art
Man caves tend to have dark walls, warm lamps, leather and wood, and one big wall behind the sofa or bar. Art here should match that mood, with rich color, a sense of the outdoors and scenes worth a second look over a long evening. This man cave wall art collection gathers wildlife, mountain cabins, night skies and warm Southwest landscapes.
Wildlife with presence
In Graceful Bear Dance in Moonlight, two brown bears stand upright in shallow water, paws touching, under a misty moon. Wildlife of Jasper puts a bull elk with a full rack at the water's edge, and Anchorage Alaskan Wilderness follows a bull moose past an alpine lake. Buffalo Industrial Heritage sets a bison against bridges and smokestacks in cream, caramel and rust.
Cabins and high country
Gatlinburg Cabin in the Woods glows gold under a full moon, smoke curling from the chimney. Jackson Hole Winter Wonderland catches snow falling on a cabin at dusk in thick, textured paint. Rustic Cabin Deer Scene gathers five deer at a creek below lit windows, and Eugene Pacific Northwest Style leaves a lone canoe by a stream beneath snowy peaks.
Night skies and desert warmth
Santa Fe Pueblo Style, our best-selling canvas in this collection, pairs a terracotta adobe wall with a turquoise door and distant mountains. Anchorage Northern Lights Scene drapes turquoise, pink and violet ribbons over a still mountain lake, while Tucson Sonoran Desert sets saguaros against coral and purple ridges.
Hanging art in a man cave
- Size to the sofa or bar. Choose about two-thirds of the furniture width: a 48×32 horizontal over a 72-inch sofa, or a 60×40 above a sectional.
- Get the height right. Center art at 57 to 60 inches on an open wall, or 8 to 10 inches above a sofa or bar.
- Group and pair. The bears, elk and Gatlinburg cabin are all vertical and hang well in a row, 3 inches apart. The two horizontal cabin scenes make a pair.
- Light dark walls. On navy, charcoal or wood paneling, glowing windows stand out. Add a picture light for night skies, and consider a black or natural wood floater frame.
- Mind the heat. Keep canvas off the wall directly above a wood stove and away from fireplace heat.
