“After fifteen years helping patients regain movement, I found myself drawn to capturing the opposite—stillness. The impressionist masters at the Boston MFA became my teachers during lunch breaks. Now I paint quiet moments in New England landscapes, focusing on how light changes everything it touches.”

About Daphne

Daphne Rowe lives and works in Boston, Massachusetts, after fifteen years as a physical therapist helping patients regain movement. All that focus on motion drew Rowe toward its opposite, stillness. Lunch breaks with the impressionist masters at the Boston MFA became a second education, alongside a BFA from the University of Oregon.

Rowe paints in an impressionist style, with close attention to how light shifts across a scene. Look for weathered docks on Mirror Lake in Lake Placid, the Château Frontenac glowing over Quebec City, Ottawa’s ByWard Market and saguaros under a swirling Tucson night sky. Explore the artist’s best-selling canvases below, all printed on matte canvas and ready to hang.
